Dating Ocean Safety Standards
Last updated June 26, 2026
Zero Tolerance Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material, exploitation, grooming, coercion, and any content that endangers minors. Prohibited content is removed when detected, and accounts connected to severe safety violations are permanently banned. Dating Ocean uses reporting tools, moderation review, account enforcement, and safety education to reduce harm across profiles, photos, chats, voice calls, and video calls. We also design public safety pages so users can understand our standards before they need to report a problem. Safety decisions prioritize user protection over engagement metrics, match volume, or short-term growth.
Reporting
Users can report suspicious or harmful content in-app from profiles, conversations, photos, and other interaction surfaces. Reports should include the clearest available context, such as the profile, message, image, call behavior, payment request, impersonation concern, or pressure pattern. Our Trust and Safety review process looks for both single severe incidents and repeated lower-level behavior that can create risk over time. When appropriate, we may remove content, limit account access, block abusive users from contacting others, or request additional information. We encourage early reporting because fast action can protect both the person who reports and the wider community.
Cooperation with Authorities
We comply with applicable regional and national laws related to child safety, user protection, data requests, and illegal content. When verified CSAM, credible threats, exploitation, or other legally reportable harm is identified, we escalate to the appropriate authorities or reporting channels as required. We preserve relevant account and report information according to legal obligations and platform policy, while also respecting user privacy where disclosure is not required. Dating Ocean is not a law enforcement agency, but we cooperate with lawful requests and prioritize rapid removal of content that creates immediate safety risk.
Contact
If you have urgent safety concerns, you may contact us directly at info@datingocean.com. Include the profile name, conversation context, approximate time, screenshots if safe to collect, and a short description of what happened. Do not continue a harmful conversation only to gather more evidence. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted local support organization first, then report the account in Dating Ocean when it is safe. Email is useful for detailed follow-up, but in-app reporting is often the fastest way to connect a concern to the correct profile or conversation.
Commitment
We are committed to building a safe and respectful environment for dating, friendship, language exchange, and cross-cultural conversation. Our policies are reviewed as product features, moderation patterns, legal requirements, and user behavior change. We use safety standards to guide product design, not only account enforcement after harm occurs. That includes clearer reporting paths, privacy-conscious communication defaults, education about scams and boundaries, and ongoing review of how public content is presented to users and search engines. A safer community depends on both platform action and user awareness, so these standards will continue to evolve.
